BAASLAB Climate Change Solutions
Restoration and plantation

Government and infrastructure

You have degraded land, a restoration obligation and an audit at the end of it. This is the sequence we would run, and the evidence you would hold at handover.

The four questions

What you need answered

  • Can you? Restoration scope, directly or in consortium
  • How will you? The seven stages below, written before work starts
  • Under what standard? Your obligation document, read first
  • How will I prove it? Two counting methods, both reported
  • Who is liable? A registered Indian company, named directors
  • What do I keep? A pack that survives an audit without us
Before you shortlist us

Baaslab Private Limited was incorporated in 2026 and has completed no government contracts. If your tender carries a past performance or similar works clause, we do not meet it on our own and we will not pretend to. We would come in with a partner who does, on a scope we can be held to. Everything else on this page we can do from day one.

How we would run it

Seven stages, in this order

Each one produces a document. If a stage produces nothing you can file, it did not happen.

01

Read the obligation before the land

What the sanction letter, the environmental clearance condition or the compensatory afforestation order actually requires: area, species, density, survival threshold, reporting interval and the definition of completion. Half the failures in this work come from restoring land correctly against the wrong specification.

Output: obligation note, stating exactly what must be true at handover
02

Baseline the site so the result can be proved

Geo referenced boundary walk, soil sampling for depth, texture, pH and organic carbon, water table and runoff behaviour, existing vegetation count, and the satellite green cover index on the day work starts. Photographs from fixed camera points that will be re-shot for the life of the contract.

Output: baseline pack, filed before a single pit is dug
03

Plan for the site, not for the catalogue

Species chosen against local soil, rainfall and the site condition rather than against a standard list, planted in tiers so a canopy failure does not leave bare ground. Pit specification, spacing, soil amendment, water source and the protection method that suits the actual pressure on the site, whether that is grazing, fire or encroachment.

Output: restoration plan with species justification per zone
04

Execute with local labour and a paper trail

Planting, protection, irrigation through establishment and replacement of losses. Work offered locally at stated wages, with muster and payment records maintained from day one rather than assembled later. Material and nursery sourcing recorded against each block.

Output: block wise planting record, wage register, procurement trail
05

Count what survived, twice, by two methods

Sample plot counts on the ground at the agreed intervals, and satellite green cover over the same boundary across the same dates. Where the two disagree we report both and investigate, because that gap is usually where the real problem is.

Output: survival report with method stated, at every agreed interval
06

Maintain through the years that decide it

A plantation is decided by the second and third dry seasons, not by planting day. Watering through establishment, protection maintained, gap filling, and a fire and grazing response that is written down before it is needed.

Output: maintenance log, continuous through the contract term
07

Hand over something an auditor can re-check

The complete evidence pack, geo referenced, with the method for every figure in it. Written so that a person who was never on the site can go to the boundary, repeat the count and get the same answer.

Output: handover pack, re-checkable without us
Compliance and accountability

Who you would be contracting

Contracting entity

Baaslab Private Limited, incorporated in India under the Companies Act, registered office in Pune. Entity details and directors are published on the governance page.

Labour and wages

Local hiring first, wages stated openly, muster and payment records maintained and available for inspection.

Do no harm rules

No land taken that supports a household food crop, no site where grazing or passage rights are disputed, no establishment water drawn against drinking supply.

Grievance route

A named email route for anyone affected by the work, with complaints acknowledged and outcomes recorded.

The reporting layer

Why we count twice

  • Ground plots give a real number on a small area
  • Satellite gives a rough number on the whole area
  • Alone, each one can be quietly wrong
  • Together, the disagreement points at the problem
  • Fixed camera points make failure visible without a survey
  • Method is published before the numbers it produces
What a restored block changes
Land Soil that holds Organic carbon and root structure rebuilt, so the next monsoon runs into the ground instead of off it.
Water Recharge, not runoff Trenches and canopy slow water down long enough for it to reach the water table.
Work Local wages for years Protection and maintenance is not a planting week. It is work in the same villages for the length of the contract.
Record Evidence that outlives us Geo referenced, method stated, re-checkable by anyone who follows the same steps.
Common questions

Government and infrastructure

Can BAASLAB take a government land restoration or plantation contract?
Yes, as the implementing party on a restoration scope: baseline survey, species plan, planting, protection, maintenance and survival reporting over the contract term. Baaslab Private Limited is an Indian private limited company and can contract directly or as part of a consortium where a tender requires past performance we do not yet hold.
How is plantation survival measured and reported?
By counted sample plots on the ground plus satellite green cover over the same boundary, at fixed intervals agreed before planting. Both numbers are reported, including where they disagree, because a canopy index can look healthy over a block that is actually failing underneath.
What does BAASLAB hand over at the end of a restoration contract?
The geo referenced boundary, the planting record by species and date, every survival count with its method, the photographic series from fixed camera points, the maintenance log, and the wage and payment records for local labour. All of it in a form an auditor can re-check without us.
Has BAASLAB completed a government project?
No. The company was incorporated in 2026 and holds no completed contracts. For a tender with a past performance clause we would come in with a partner who meets it, and say so rather than dressing up something else as experience.

Send us the obligation, not the tender

The sanction condition, the clearance clause or the survival threshold you have to hit. We will tell you what it will actually take, and whether we are the right party for it.
